Sent this as a birthday gift. Every child should have a bubble mower! It's just plain fun!!!!We’ve had this mower for a couple of months and it holds up. It’s never needed rinsing or anything like it mentions in order to make bubbles. My 18 mo pushes that thing all over the neighborhood. It definitely is a struggle on more dense grass but he usually wants to go on the sidewalk. Love this thing!Grandson loves itThis has been a hit as an indoor toy. We tried it as an outdoor toy with bubble solution, but my 18-month old couldn't push the mower fast enough for the bubbles to come out reliably. Then, the bubble solution left a sticky mess that grass and other matter would stick to. Ultimately, we found this better as an inside toy that my son can push from room to room. He has a fake toddler vacuum, and next to that unit, the mower is his favorite toy.It is necessary to screw part of the mower's upper handle to the lower handle. If you do not do this, the pieces will come apart quickly. While the bottom of the mower feels sturdy, the handle part is less sturdy. That noted, my kid is pretty rough with this toy and over several months, I haven't noticed any cracking.I really like the sound that the mower makes; for a non-electric toy, the sound is similar to that of a real mower without the need for earplugs.Works as advertised. The wheels may not turn so well on concrete or hard surfaces, but work phenomenal on the lawn. Which is kind of what this toy is for, right! My boys played for over an hour with the units right after we bought them. Zero issues with bubbles or any other problems has mentioned another reviews. Maybe we got lucky, but I did buy two since I have twins.If this teaches them to mow the lawn for real, it was money well spent!We bought this bubble mower for our year old grandson. It’s so much fun with the mower sounds and the bubbles. It appears that he feels that he has a cooler mower than his dad with the way he giggles. Great toy!It leaks just like everyone else said. There are several holes underneath so that air can come up and create the bubbles. These air holes are where the bubbles leak out so this is not an indoor toy. But my kiddo loves the bubbles and the sound it makes and so do my dogs so I would more than likely buy this again, even with the unfortunate leaking situation.What I liked best about this toy is that my great grandson LOVES it. He plays with it almost every day and likes to use it when his dad or mom mows the lawn.We had Fisher Price mower for older grandchildren, which is still in very good condition. Almost 2 year old has been playing with it daily, since he found it in the shed. Have bought the up to date version for him as an Easter gift, to take home and still have the existing one when he comes here. Updated toy has drawer for bubble solution, much better than the small opening on original. Cannot comment on durability, but if it lasts as long as the original (6 years),all happy.Received the toy and immediately put together, which was simple. Tried it out before my son, and found while everything was spinning and seemed to work, bubbles would not blow out. I poured more of the solution in, and again, nothing. I ended up pouring the whole bottle in, and still no bubbles were made. Trying to do a return now, and the seller wants me to pay for shipping back. Go to the store and buy this, so if it’s defective, it won’t cost you to return it!We had bought this for my little boy's 4th birthday we decided to try a different brand as he'd had 2 others previously completely different makes and they broke pretty much within days this has lasted in all weathers I like how the bubble mixture goes in the side and not the top so the mixture doesn't get clogged and the bubbles come out perfectly definitely recommendOur grandson loves this - I know you can buy similar for half the price but I really do think it’s worth paying the extra for a good make. He plays with it without the bubbles too - he likes the noise it makes!i bought this for my 2 grandsons to play with when they come to stay, and they both love it. I have just ordered another one for my Grandsons birthday, so he will have one to play with at home.
