This wand works well to make huge bubbles. The telescoping handles are nice for storage. Unfortunately, because you need to extend and retract after use it doesn't hold up very well over time. Also, it says to wipe clean and dry after each use. The kids do not remember this all the time and they will get rusty. Great wand though. This is my second one.My 6 year old player with my friends giant bubble wand at a party and fell in love. This wand has totally hit the spot! My husband and I have also been enjoying it. Then my 9 year old nephew. Then my 13 year old twin nephews (I don’t think I have heard squeals or delight from that age in so long). Then my 69 year old mom loved it so much she bought a bunch for a family party.So far only one person has given it a bad review… my 21 month old baby likes that the arms can be shortened for him but hasn’t quite figured out the technique. I think in a few months he will also rate it 5 stars.The telescoping arms make it the perfect size for the user plus makes storage so nice. The rope seems very sturdy.Extra bonus… we are moving it around our patio and the bubbles are killing the weeds. Plus, do it at night and your kids get super soapy in time for a bath! Yay!We had a lot of fun with this, huge bubbles. You can also use a more compact container for the soap mixture using this wand. Love that the wand folds away into a small size you can put away in a drawer. I do think its a bit overpriced for what it is - and the 'carry bag' does not really justify it, so four stars instead of five.The quality is good. Sturdy handle and rope is thick. But it takes some time to get a Rhythm I guess you could say. I had to look it up online how to get it to actually create a larger bubble.fun for kidsgot what i expected... goodMy Grandson and his friend had a fabulous time. So did Grammy. I kept doing it over and over, saying one more time, but I was enjoying making bubbles as much as my kids were enjoying chasing after them. Some of the bubbles were as big as my kids! You just need a sand toy bucket of bubble solution, and you can make the bubble solution at home. You need the bubble solution recipe to be more sticky for such big bubbles so add some corn syrup and corn starch, or the store bought solution works great. I will bring this out for my son's birthday party.This is absolute junk - extending rods were bent, and even though I straightened them, the whole thing was unusable, tried to use included bubble solution with other wands, but it was too thin to make bubbles. Avoid.I've been wanted to get a giant bubble wand for ages as we love bubbles in our house. This is really good fun and it does create huge bubbles. My 10 year old found it easy to do. Fun for all ages, not just for kids!No matter what bubble solution we made, we couldn't get any bubbles. We tried store bought and washing up liquid as instructed on the leaflet. I wouldn't recommendFantastic stuff, my daughter loves it. Like the fact that I can extend the handles and create massive bubbles higher - bubble have the chance to float in air for longer before popping up. Used it yesterday and it's so fun ( until bubble solution finished haha). Fabulous bubble wand, perfect for outdoor play doesn't matter the age.
