I ordered this coat in an XL seeing that it did say it was a JUNIORS coat which juniors is for like teens or ppl with petite like frames. I'm on the short side 5'2" and weight 170 and the coat fits me perfectly..hugs my bottom a bit but that because I have a big bottom lolAnyways I wasn't able to wear it much when originally purchased because it has been oddly warm on the east coast. However the last week has been extremely chilly and the coat does indeed keep me warm with out having a sweater or hoodie under as I would usually wear one with a coat. It's long as well which I like, just few inches above the kneesMy only complaint is that the good is rather small! It comes to the top of my head. I like big hoods for when it snows or rains since I wear glasses but was disappointed. Also I have a hole in one of my pockets which is weird because I carry my keys in the breast pocket so I'm pretty sure it was a stitching thing. Someone else mentions stray thread which I've found a few but not many to freak out about. Also I shoved my hands and my pockets and my pocket tore a bit.. I'lol be able to do it but didn't realize the coat would be so delicateBut it is a great coat for the price and I wasn't trying to spend tons of money on a winter coat..I wanted something warm and it is indeed warm, I'll just suggest being gentle with the coat and if you want a larger hood I wouldn't suggest this coat for you, I can live with it for nowI bought this coat originally for my daughter. She had 3 to pick from and this was by far her favorite. We were sent the wrong size the first time but that was quickly fixed and the second time we received the correct size. We live in a warm climate but will be traveling to colder areas this winter and I can tell this coat will be very warm. We have the gunmetal color and I like it so much I ordered one for myself and another for a gift. I know some reviews stated that it runs small but I would say the only place I felt that this was true was in the arms - it is a little snug for me in the arms but fine for my daughter. However, neither of us wear bulky sweaters which could make the coat more snug. I do think the buttons are a little cheap looking but otherwise, I love the look, feel and fit of this coat.I have now ordered this coat 3 times now. The first one was a 2x and too big surprisingly. I am about 170lbs and 5'4. The 2x was in perfect condition with no holes in the pockets or anything. Perfect condition. Then I ordered a 1x and it fit perfectly but the zipper on the hood was broken and small circular holes in the shoulders areas on the outside. Very disappointing. I have ordered one more and once I get that then I can give an updated review. It is very warm and fits well so I'm waiting on one more try.UPDATE: I finally got the correct coat! No holes anywhere, hood in tact and the belt came with it. It is very warm and feels great! I am not giving 5 stars only because I had to return the last one with the defects. All in all I like the coat.Really love this coat so far. Its been in the 40s the past two nights and I've been outside for hours and its kept me very warm. I wear a 2x in womens shirts and ordered this a 3x hoping it would give me a bit more width in the shoulders and length in the arms, but in my opinion it fits like a 2x. Its not too snug though so I will keep it to wear. I have broader shoulders than the average women's clothing give and usually get stuck wearing mens coats for that reason, but i dislike how unflattering they are. The sleeves on this coat are only slightly short and as i lose a little weight i am hoping that will help. Its not a very thick coat but its lined with fleece making it very toasty. I will try to review again as the Ohio winter approaches and I am in this coat in below zero temps.I'm a size 18 and 5'11 with broad shoulders do i got the 3x and it fit well. As noted the sleeves were a little short but nothing bad. The coat covered my butt, I thought it would be a bit longer but I'm also pretty tall. Both lower pockets had holes in them but I think I can easily sew the holes. The pockets near the top of the jacket were secure. I wasn't surprised to see the holes in the lower pockets based on other reviews and for $40 it's not worth the trouble to return the coat over something minor. It's warm and pockets issues aside it seems to be well made. I got the olive color which I think it really pretty. Overall I'm pretty happy esp for the price. If you're shorter than 5'11 it'll prob hit you a bit lower and will def cover your butt.Because it's junior sized I expected it have shorter sleeves which was the case. If they could have been about 3 inches longer in the sleeves it would have been perfect. I may also have to wash it pre-use to get the awful chemical smell off it. I have to say I got a headache after trying it on maybe 3 times. I'm very sensitive to odors and they give me migraines. That would be my only complaint. It's very well made I love the color and the warmth it's long enough on my short frame. I'm 5' 4" I wear size 18 clothes this fit me just fine with still quite a bit of room. I could have sized down but I prefer my coats a little loose.How can you go wrong with this? Very inexpensive and it does the job! Took this to our recent trip to Italy with 40 degrees temp and this jacket was my best friend. Very stylish (just need to dress it wear great colors with it) and looks good in all our photos. I wore this with a lot of red/plum/burgundy colors and it looked really good! I am 5'5 tall, 130 weight (a lot of muscles...LOL) and I bought size M and with 2 layers of clothing under this, the fit is perfect! I normally wear size Small or 4 or sometimes 6. May not have perfect stiching / sewing job but who really cares? If this last me at least 5 years (which seems like it), it keeps me warm and looks great, then I get my more than what I paid for it and that is all the matters to me!!!
