The iconic “chunk-shaped” gum, America’s #1-selling twist-wrap gum is individually wrapped and available in a variety of tasty flavors: Original (the classic, perfectly-pink twist), Pink-Lemonade, Blue-Razz, Apple, Sour Cherry, Grape, and Watermelon. Created in 1928 by Fleer Candy Company accountant Walter Diemer (he claims he stumbled upon the recipe by accident), the gum featured comic strip featuring brothers Dub and Bub (replaced in 1950 by Pud). It grew in popularity and was even distributed as part of military rations during World War II. It also was part of the first-ever gum five-pack (1957). Dubble Bubble joined the Tootsie family in 2003, adding its standing as the world’s favorite bubble gum brand to the world’s favorite candy lineup.

This is our second time buying this for our son's baseball team. My son loves bringing it to share with all the players in the dugout. Pretty sure the first time we bought it the tub had a handle on it. This time no handle, and that's not good because the tub is big and heavy for a kid to lug around. Also, no expiration date stamped anywhere on the tub or on the individually wrapped pieces of gum, so you just have to trust it's ok. Happily, the tub we received contained pieces that were soft and flavorful and the kids love having a choice of colors and flavors! It came sealed and packed well with air pillow packs so the tub was unharmed and the seal unbroken.
