The size is good, my daughter is 4.5 and wears a 7/8... the only thing I don't like about it is the waistband is not hemmed or attached to the dress along the top edge. The bottom is sewn in, but the top part of the belted waist hangs off. Makes it look unfinished and sloppy. The material is thick and good quality, I'm just disappointed in the waist portion. Too bad, if it weren't for that, the dress would be perfect.
